Question:

The person is chronically depressed and his/her doctor mandated an "emotional support animal". Economic assitance (covering associated costs) is needed for the care of a service dog (ie. food provisions, vet care, training as a companion dog, grooming, etc.).

I know of at least one agency that provides service dogs also provides financial assistance for care of the dog if it is needed.

CHeck with the agencies that provide the dog, these people are usually very helpful and caring and will bend over backwards to help.
