How to have motivation? (serious answer please)?

Question:
HOW TO HAVE MOTIVATIONS?

This question is related to the last question. I know and think my addictions is about making choices.
But how to have motivation to get off line and turn off my computer?
How to have motivation to leave my computer right after I checked emails (and etc) ?
I feel very unmotivate to do other things.
Please don't answer 'just do it', I know this, but if it's that easy, I won't be here asking questions.

Internet is the easiest access here,

I hate myself!

Answers:
Why do you hate yourself?? Depression, as I'm sure you know causes motivational problems.

But also, it's finding something that you REALLY WANT to do that is important.

Probably a good idea if you pre arrange things with other people then you'd know you'd have to get off to go meet them.

I know how easy it is to call things off too. But this is the bit where you DO have to be strong and follow through with any arrangements you made.

If this is a passing phase and little jobs around you are piling up and you feel so unmotivated then, don't worry about it, let the jobs pile up, you'll get to them eventually and leaving them is no harm.

So, make a phone call now to someone you like, if you can't think of a venue, let them decide and tell them not to tell you what it is, otherwise you'd just say ' I don't wanna do that'.

Then the hardest bit...get up and go.

Energy breeds energy.it's a fact! Once you do one thing.it energizes you and you feel more able to do another.

Hope this helps a bit.
Find a partner that is also interested in fitness. Make it into a game. My friend is obsessed with money and also complains that she is overweight but not motivated to do anything about it. I came up with the idea of putting $5 into a pot every week and weighing in once a month. The person with the most weight lost gets all the money. This really seemed to help her. All people are different and have different interests. Find what works for you.
maybe your obsessive compulsive and not able to control your thoughts/actions, medication, therapy, support groups prob only answers....don't hate yourself, love yourself for all your quirkiness
Do you have any pets? if not you can go to your local SPCA or look in the paper and find dogs free everyday, a pet will help you eat less ( as mine wants everything I eat so no chocolate, or unhealthy snacks for us) I eat less by sharing with him, he is also good for helping me keep my mind on track or I would be playing my guitar 23 hours a day, walks in the park with him are great ( right now he is nudging me to feed him and go out) he goes EVERYWHERE I go, he knows when I start getting anxiety around people and will either get in front of me and make me pet him or take him out. Pets are wonderful people, mine has been a life saver.
Oh! I used to be as u but since i got (overcoming social anxiety) i got changed a bit.I recommend you to get a not book and ask your self several questions like:
1.what do you hate about yourself?
2. how do you want to get change?
and try to think deeply and write down your answers in the not book.what really helped me is to break the cyclic pattern of think (i hate myself, im nothing, .etc) whenever it comes just break it immediatly that will help you to build confidence quickly.Trust me it worked! It's not easy to be honest but work on it as much s you can.Best of luck:)
I was completely addicted to the 'net for four years - I slept on a child's youth bed in the 'puter room, my kids didn't get to school every day 'cause mama had been on line all night, my ankles were so swollen from sitting I couldn't walk to the corner, my unlimited ISP sent me notice that I was over my unlimited hours. even that didn't phase me. we just changed ISPs.
I knew I was in deeeeeep trouble. I hooked up with a therapist who got me back on track by guiding me with questions like - where do you see yourself in 5 years. where will your children be in a year if you keep this up. what legacy do you want to leave. what will be said about you in your eulogy.. long-term, big picture reality checks. when I first discovered Yahoo! Answers I was a bit nervous remembering how hooked I was in the past but I have a life again now - kids both in college, great job that I thrive in and I wouldn't jeopardize all that effort for the world. the Internet is great but balance is crucial to success as a person. see what your answers are to those questions or seek out support from a therapist who understands the addictive/ hyperfocused personality

best of luck with this... it's a hard stream to ford but worth it
