do all schizos quit taking there medication?

LOL i quit taking my meds about five months ago. ive been doing fine; i found that on my meds my night terrors and 'voices' as well as 'visions' were more than when i wasnt on them at all. everyone is different, so i would say talk to your doctor before making this kind of decision. they had me on risperdone (oral) and something else i forget, but the risperdone i had to take at night which is why i think it resulted in more visions at night along with scarier night terrors. its helped a lot that off my meds when i do see or hear things i proclaim it outloud to my husband so that im aware what ive just seen/heard is not real.. that has helped me more than anything.

i haven't. and neither have i.
