Is Adorexia (no, not anorexia) an actual disease?

Question:
ok, i heard this on a movie, called lucky number slevin. The main character mentions that he has this condtion called Adorexia. He says that it is a condition that makes it so you don't worry about anything even when you should. Is this an actual disease? because it kind of seems like something hollywood might make up as a quick and easy way to justify why this character who is slated to die isn't freaking out about it.

Answers:
Adorexia is a state of mind, not a disease. It stems from the ancient Greek Cynic school of philosophy. It means merely to yield to nature and the course of things rather than to oppose them. Psychopathic personalities often do not fear death, or anything else. They have been known to enter the death chamber with the feeling that they have "won", even if they are about to die.
There is no way that adorexia can be medically induced other than through a drug dosage which turns somebody into a virtual zombie.
never heard of this
