How can I stop being so analyitical?
Question:
Answers:
well, why do you over analyze things? do you feel the need to, to like understand or something? do you have to replay certain things in your mind over and over to 'get it', or do you just do it so that you know for sure what's going on and stuff? i'm asking this because i am like that as well, and i have always contributed it to being an obsessive trait. If you have to keep doing it over and over, especially if you do it to calm down or whatever, that could be an obsessive thing. If so, there are meds for it. Even if it isn't an obsessive trait, would suggest talking to a psychologist, they would be able to help you figure out why you do that and help. It's better to get it over with than live with it, you know? so ya, check a counsellor or something (just to note, seeing a pyschologist doesn't make you weak, just to clear off the stigma attached)
i think its ur personality....i hav the same problem....but i use it positively....i use it to understand people around me......family, friends...co workers , patients.etc ..it is good to analyze everything esp...the worst things happening around u.... use it to ur advantage but dont let it overcome u...dont take everything personally
