Sometimes I wake up sobbing...?

Question:
Sometimes, if I fall asleep somewhere other than my bed, like a chair in the living room, I'll wake up a couple of hours later just sobbing! So I'll go to my room and get ready for bed and just keep crying my eyes out, and as I'm doing it I know there's a reason, but when I think about it later, I have no idea why. I didn't have a nightmare or anything. And I can never stop! It's miserable! What's wrong with me?

Answers:
You could be having a dream that you don't remember. It may also be that when you wake up in a place other than your bed, it startles you and has some effect on you sub-consciously. There may very well be something from your infancy that triggers this reaction. I don't think you're necessarily depressed, and you may not even need major counseling. But if you could talk this over with some adult you trust and discover your feelings as you are crying your heart out, you might discover the source of the sobbing. I would love to explore this with you further, perhaps by email.
LONELY? sounds like your lonely.
