Does anyone have any practical ,self-taught methods of coping with depression?
Question:
Answers:
There are no foolproof ways of dealing with depression. There are many ways people will tell you to feel better, but most of the time it is short lived. Exercise, (releases endorphins) Staying busy, (too busy to address the issue, accomplishment) talking to a friend, (may or may not help) meditation,(could have worse thoughts)and on and on and on. Your best course of action is to see a mental health specialist. I tried many years to help myself my own way and it almost cost me my life twice. I have gotten much better in the past few years with professional assistance, and many understanding friends.
I dunno, i'd like to know though. Sometimes it's just SO hard to smile.
