How can the lithium level in the blood can be kept through the routine food systems?

Question:
I am a regular intaker of lithium to keep up my lithium level of blood to the required. Lithium is taken on priscription due to my illness of depression. Is there any particular food products to maintain lithium level in the blood so that the drugs can be stopped or reduced. Wish to know about natural food products which keep up the lithium level in blood.

Answers:
No. You should only take the lithium prescribed to you by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day and please don't double up your dose if you miss one. If you take the doctor's prescribed amount, then you can control how much you are intaking. Additional lithium may spike your level too high which may lead to lithium poisoning.
