If you haven't studied anything about the yogi's from india and what some of them can do, you should. Such abilities are real. Go to

to read about current research and studies being conducted. Here's something I can do. See if you can do it. Take a necklace or anything really on a necklace type chain (a pendulum works great). Hold the object out in front of you and place the palm of your other hand face up about two or three inches below the end of the pendulum or whatever it is.
Concentrate on visualizing the pendulum swinging around to the right in circles. It should start swinging around. Be careful to keep the hand from which the pendulum is suspended as still as you can. Only the pendulum should be swinging. Visualize it going faster and faster. Then visualize it stopping and going in the other direction. Once it does that, visualize it swinging backward and forward. And once it does that visualize it swinging side to side.
Don't be tempted to use your abilities by doing parlor tricks for friends. Be modest and humble about it. The abilities can be used for good or evil, and if you sell your soul by using them for evil to harm others you could lose your abilities, not to mention losing your soul.
The mind is very powerful, but be careful how you use your abilities. You should never use this energy while angry or with negative thoughts in your mind. You should focus on developing your spiritual awareness. There are many books out there, but I recommend the Divine Romance by Paramahansa Yogananda (about developing a strong belief in God through positive thoughts and deeds).
Teach yourself to meditate. It leads to more in-depth understanding of yourself and your abilities. It keeps your mind centered and keeps you calm in negative situations. It also helps keep you from being easily swayed or tempted by negative people. One of the most important things about meditation is it heightens your ability to tune into that gut feeling that warns you before bad things happen to you. Always pay attention to it. It can warn you about getting involved with negative people, even when they appear fine on the surface. You'll find over time you have more than the ability to move objects.
When I first got fully into this, light bulbs used to burn out if they were directly over my head or anywhere within arm's reach. Once I stopped by a fast food drive-through to get a soda. When I placed my money in the window attendant's hand she got a terrible electric shock. I could see from the look on her face and in her eyes that it scared her. You should be aware those sorts of things can happen - you don't want to scare people.
Here's an example of how your dreams and gut feelings can help you. I knew this guy I felt uncomfortable around, but he persisted in trying to get to know me. I didn't tell him I was moving, and the night before I moved out of my apartment I dreamed he came over to my place and threatened me with a knife. The next day he called and I tried to talk him out of stopping by, but he said he was coming over. Before he arrived I hid the knife I was using to cut packng tape under the mattress and made sure there were no other knives in the apartment. When he stopped by, he said he would hellp me pack and asked me if I had a knife. I pretended to check around and told him I didn't know where I had put it. He got really flustered, and left shortly afterward. I locked the door behind him and was never so relieved. That wasn't the only time listening to my inner self (gut feeling) prevented something bad from happening to me.
Be thoughtful and aware so you don't end up involved with a person or group who will try to take advantage of you and your abilities, or worse try to control you. God bless you.
