How do you know if you are stressed, whether mildly or severely?

Not being able to make a decision or concentrate. Not remembering what you've watched on the television or read. Imagining you've had conversations with friends. Forgetting what you are saying midsentence etc etc etc
Symptoms of stress are different for everyone. Its how your body reacts when under stress. Here are some symptoms though: Headaches, diarrhea, loss of appetite or over eating, nail bitting, heart palpitations, and there are others. When there is a lot going on and I don't do any of it because I don't know where to begin.
I'm currently stressed--ill parent, new job, and not enough time for myself to enjoy life.
