Why do i think about things that are beyond my control?

Question:
all the time..i dream if only this and that..i love my life and can appreciate i'm lucky to live the way i do, i'm self motivated and exercise and socialise vigorously, I know what i like and i'm happy doing it but it still just doesn't feel enough...

Answers:
All who have ever succeeded have dreamed of accomplishing things greater than most people. Inasmuch as you have that trait within you, get busy in believing in yourself.

Consider yourself lucky to be mentally active. Now, take that first step and challenge yourself at accomplishing a goal.

Start with a small and timely project. Write a play, read a novel, donate your time to a charitable cause trying to raise awareness about the environment, help out the local church, etc.

You will find yourself being satisfied and you will grow because of your worthwhile effort.

Other Answers:
Reflection isn't a bad thing, but you have to prioritize things. If it seems to take you over, I would first recommend yoga & meditation, next some therapy, and finaly medication.

Good luck

Because out mind can wander on any subject and is influenced daily on things we see or hear. We have to take our thoughts and control them - it's part of growing up. Otherwise we would be like children and act on every thought or impulse. It's stated in the bible that we are to master our thoughts - lots of motivational material has been written on this very subject. If you master your thoughts, you can direct your life.

we all think or worry about things that are beyond our control, the best way to deal with this is to say, I cannot control what I have no control over, good luck
