No, but you'll probably get a massive headache if you play for over 5 hours a day (I have).

I'm gonna have to say no. I think if you look at a monitor too long you can have seizures, or your eyes will start to hurt really bad. Just switch to a lcd screen and make sure the lights are on. Don't play for more then three hours at a time. You should be fine by doing this.
