its not easy but you can overcome these things without brain frying tablets.firstly make two lists 1 the things you like doing 2 the things that depress you and get you down.
start with the smallest things that bother you and get rid of it or sort it out the bigger things will become easy then.This will help a lot and give you more time to do the things that make you happy.
Just remember everyone else out there is just the same they are only human's like you and nothing to be scared of.A little each day and before you know it you will be nearly back to being ok.
I refused antidepressants and used herbal remideis available in the chemist such as valerina.
Also read a brilliant book called Living with FEar which really helped as well as seeing a nurse a couple of times.
Counseling will help.
I find that Siberian ginseng helps.
Exercise helps.
A healthy sex life helps.

20 years - I have had it. If you can get jogging you will break it apart. I did that in my early 20's and got my first degree in university that way. With the jogging will come all the healthier food that your body will crave in order to jog - excercie more. With more fruit - fibre - protein - you will break it up. I have had it - a resurgence since I met my ex when I stopped excercising. Dont tell your parter you have it - they will use it against you. Its the old diet and excerice thing - the timeless classic. Get 8 hours of sleep a night
