Anxiety to depression to fellings of hopelessness, what will it mean for me?
Question:
I really appreciate your responses guys.
I'm at my wits end, and find that I hate myself more everyday
Answers:
You need to add therapy to your list of solutions. It is not unusual to have anxiety arise when you have depression or vice versa, they are very closely tied. Its likely the Zoloft is preventing the panic attacks at this point. Changing medications is something that is becoming more and more popular. No one can say for sure, but generally its believed that after a while a medication CAN (not for everyone) stop working or working as well. Adding to or changing the medication has been successful for some. As I see it though, you really need someone to talk to about why you are feeling as you do.
Probably the power of suggestion about the anxiety. You are also thinking "why me" and/or "poor me"..right?
So why haven't you changed medications yet? Don't you want to have these feelings stop? Or are you addicted to being miserable? It's one or the other.
thats bull look you dont need medicine you need a friend or join a sport it gives more confidence go to church anything
I have panic attacks.a little depression too. It's rough sometimes.the best advice I can give you is exercise. It sounds cheesey, but it has helped me more than I can even tell you.it releases happy endorphins which helps with both. Also, panic attacks get better once you don't worry about having them so much. Instead of getting mad at yourself about them, forgive yourself and say it's ok to have panic attacks sometimes. You know what they are.it's just your body freaking out a little bit. Nothing bad will come from it. I hope I help at all.just know there are a lot of people out there who have both anxiety and depression. You don't have to hate yourself and the most important thing to remember is YOU'RE NOT CRAZY! Be careful with medications.research a lot before you take something. I had reeeally bad side effects from Paxil. Like I said, just research first. OK, good luck!
Anxiety and Antidepressant Medications Lead One to Thoughts and Feelings of Hopelessness, and Suicide. These medications do not help. And with all the bad negative side effects you experience from those medications you will end up needing more meds to try to conteract those side effects.
Go through some Cognitive Behavior Therapy and practice Mindfulness Meditation. See a Psychologist to go through cognitive behavior therapy, without medications.
ugh, i hate that.. i have this sometimes too.. just preoccupy yourself, sign up for trips, give money to the needy, do sokmething that is good and you will have a reason for living. it always helps me and boosts my self-confidence. i hope this works!
