Can anyone tell me about some useful websites about epilepsy?

Question:
I would be glad to know more about a certain epilepsy-------bilateral cortical dysplasia. Do u know any good online resource which can extend my knowledge about this epilepsy and which can give me an overall info and idea about this condition?

Answers:
You may try searching the websites www.cdc.gov, www.jhu.edu, and www.who.int . I think you will get some related links there also.

Other Answers:
this is not epilepsy, per se. It is an overgrowth with tumescence of brain hemispheres and cortex megalcephalic distortions. The brain may be found to have occlusions resulting in seizure-like periods of multiple sclerotic schizophrenic attacks...facial features create distortions including bulbous forehead, bug eyes, huge extra long jaws...as seen in the features of the french angel, 1940's wrestler, Spanish wrestler Quasimodo, or in a far less exaggerated state, Andre the Giant.

For epilepsy updates etc. try searching for the Epilepsy Foundation.org
