Cutting and therapists?

Question:
I just recently got off of wellbutrin 150 mg cause it was making me crazy! Very suicidal and depressed feeling I just so happed to take it cause of these problems but the meds intensified it 10x so anyways before i took myself off of it i was freaking out from the meds and couldn't take it anymore and i had to cut myself just once so i wouldn't end up doing anything more! I"m scared to tell my therapist i don't wanna be stuck in a hospital or anything i'm off the meds now and feel better what do you think ones therapists reaction would be to cutting yourself due to the meds making me feel so bad?

Answers:
Please do not feel bad. You knew that the medication was making you feel worse, so quitting it was not a bad thing. If you did not feel better you would have started taking it again and seen a doctor to change the medication.
The cutting of yourself was only a sign of how bad you were feeling and I would think you therapist would understand why you did what you had done.
Maybe you should talk to him/her about what you should do next. Also, see the doctor that prescribe the medication and get him/her to change it to some thing better for you.
I have seen my son have medications do the opposite of what they were suppose to do and had to be changed.
I wish you the best and good luck.
I am sure they will be understanding and helpful.
