I have anxiety, OCD and ADHD.
So does my daughter.
One problem we face is that Drs seem to think that what works for one will work for the other.
When it doesn't work that way. She's had medicines that I am allergic too and vice versa.
Because Lexapro does wonders for me,they assume it will for her too.
But it didn't do anything for her.
And you can't convinc them.
If you are doing a paper then you should be in a class that is teaching you what you need to know and where to research this type of material.

If you need subjects with mental disorders, this is a good place to find them.
In business college, our teachers gave out disorders to write about and we chose from the list of disorders. At college now, I'm in beginning level psychology and sociology courses and we're told to pick a topic and research it and write about it. You need to use more than the internet, as it's not the most valid resource, though it is quickly becoming more trustworthy.

Pick a topic you could see yourself writing something in connection to on your final senior thesis project. Something small you can later build into something bigger. Good luck.
Is your entire paper on 'mental disorders'? Like the etiology of, epidemiology of...., etc.? or do you have to pick a specfic disorder?
Give some more info. and I can help you....have a MA in psychology.
