When I get spurts of depression, I like to go sit on the ground by a stream or lake. It calms me down.

Answers:
I'm the same way, I like to go down by the river or lake, tell the fish and the birds my problems, At least I know they won't be gossiping bout me, except to other birds and fish.

Mall with my friends.

I go to sleep. me too i like to be by myself and look at the great thinks about the world

I go to this little antique store that my mother and I used to go to and I find it calming.

I usually call my best friend. Even if I don't feel like talking about what is upsetting me, just laughing with her takes my mind off of what I'm feeling. Also, taking a nap works. I feel much calmer when I wake up.

my bedroom or where ever its dark and empty then i can mope without someone stopping me.
uh, . yeah, i do need help.

I like ti go to forest, lake, natural place sitting on a bench on ocean avenue, overlooking sm beach, watching the constant ebb and flow of the pacific ocean. The sounds of the pier, and the cars on PCH are in the background.

When I am sad or depressed, I get some goofy music, I mean like. some 80's or just some old funny 70's music. I dress up and dance around like a psycho person, and this should make you laugh. It makes me feel embarrassed, but who cares! no one is looking. and it's good excerise! So go for it! have fun.
If that doesn't work, then I go for a run. If you haven't tried just going out and running or walking. it's an amazing feeling, you feel so much better about everything once you go out for a GOOD run.

To the bar, or sleepy pie! I like to go to church or go to a quiet place or get ontop of the roof and watch the sunset.

For me, I go to the beach alone with my favorite beverage that can soothe my comfort. Sometimes from Starbucks - Green tea latte or fruit Smoothie, or else. it may not work for anyone as i usually do when i get DOWN or DEPRESSED!

Watch about 3 good movies then i feel ok afterwards.

In Canada and I'm sure in the U.S. there are hot lines in which you can call to talk to someone. If you don't know why you are depressed perhaps to could seek the help of a Physician. I feel bad for you as I have had tremendous bouts of depression over the years. Try not to isolate yourself and talk to friends if possible. Hope everything improved shortly! Di When I am down, I like to go to my Granma's house. There are acres and acres of farmland and woods there, so I can really enjoy the serenity. Too bad it's over 3,000 miles away.

lol no I'm not THAT sad =P

but your right it is nice to get away to somewhere peaceful. Although personally I just go for a walk in a nice peaceful place on a regular basis however I feel, life is always demanding SOMETHING of you.

i used to go an sit on our flat roof at night with earphones in a listening to some slow music, staring up at the stars.
The best place to go is that place that makes you forget about the hardships on life and look at the beauty of nature.
My ideal place would be on the beach during sunset or sunrise.
The dim light of the sun and the splashing of calm serene waves just seems the perfect place to forget your troubles..

now i jus go to my room and listen to some muzik..but my rooms often a mess so im in the process of finding a special place for me to relax and reflect.im always searching.here and there and weighing up the areas for their potential weight in stress relief!

I wish I did. Unfortunatly, though, I don't, so I wait for my time to come with open arms. If I didn't have a young son, I'd bring the time forward myself. i go walking by the river and sit on a bench or on th bridge.. and stay for about 20-30mins. it works for me

sometimes i just go driving and get a take away.. Any place but where I'm at. A change in the scenery genrally helps. I like by the lake and just watch the water waves eves in and out. I find very calming.
