Coz when we sleep, our subconcious which is found at the back of our heads remains awake.

why have conscious n sub-conscious... when we r up, whatever we see or talk, both conscious n sub conscious recieve that.when we go to sleep, our conscious take rest but our sub conscious still keep awake, n project things wht it had recieved in the form of dream...well sometimes we see true dreams thts unexplianed.thts is some times explained on basis of waves transmision ..

I think that dreams are our astral/ethereal bodies leaving our physical bodies during sleep and traveling to other planes of consciousness during sleep.
