For a bi-polar 16 year old, is getting weirder normal? Like not being on age level. Not being mature.?

Question:
Not being able to hold many age appropriate friends. Not being able to hold a on topic conversation. just feeling wierd and like I dont belong anywhere.

Answers:
I wish I had been diagnosed as a teen. I always felt out of place, never could figure out the social scene. I hung out with socially and mentally inferior students, because I couldn't fit in with the other honors students-- nerds OR preps. My grades were all over the place, and classmates were surprised that I was only in the 13th% of my class at graduation. They thought I was at least in top 10%. I acted smart, spoke smart, and took smart classes, but my intelligence just never seemed to come out in my grades. And I never was able to hold a normal conversation with people (I still can't). But... I am a very good writer. When I got to college, I was able to fit in very well...

There's still hope, my young friend. You're lucky you know what's really wrong with you. I didn't have a clue until my correct diagnosis at 24 years old!
They told me I wAS BIPOLAR WHEN i WAS A TEEN. tRUTH IS iM NOT. iM NOTHING HOW i WAS AS A TEEN AND i DONT TAKE MEDS. BEING A TEEN IS FULL OF DRAMA AND OVERREACTIONS.
