Does anyone else take Concerta for ADHD?

Question: I do. So far so good, but for being extended release it seems to wear off after about 8 hours instead of 12. There are no bad side effects at all. I take 36 mg dose. Is this enough or should I take more if it wears off early? How about you?

I work with kids who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. A few of them are taking Concerta and have seen great results. Keep a log of when you take your Concerta each day and when you notice signs that it may be wearing off - lack of concentration or impulsive behaviors. You can share that with your doctor to see if he should increase the dosage. Be sure you swallow it whole too. If you chew it, it loses it's effectiveness.
