Other Answers:
yes I do believe that.

a few questions yes. one? nope yes

hmmmmm Idk it depends on the reader acutally. someone could say something so funny the the asker but the reader might see it as a hateful response

No, because it would depend upon the question and what mood they were in.

I believe you are an idiot. You can get a glimpse into it.

yeah, judging by the amount of sense-of-humour bypasses on here!

Depends on how long you have been in there company I would say.

yeah, the same way i look at avatars to determine the hot factor. Nah not really!

what is the difference between somebody's personality and the way they behave (including answering questions)?

Definitely can tell if someone is funny or someone is boring and serious etc.

Entirely depends on , question being asked

If they are standing in front of you, then probably yes.
If it is via the internet, then you'd need more than one question, then still yes.

yes, but sometimes is better to not judge the book from its cover Not entirely. My ex-husband is an extremely witty, fun person when he is writing, but very depressed and angry "in person". Although his writing indicated that he is intelligent, and has a sense of humor, it certainly didn't tell the entire story. So you can get a glimpse into someone's personality, but it may only be what they want you to see.

To a certain extent. But the answer is such a short snapshot, it is more likely to tell you about their mood and/or basic prejudices.

The computor says noooooo.

not at all. People can say things that aren't true, therefore making them seem different! If you're sitting there, about to ask a question, you might as well give up and just look into the person's eyes for about 30 seconds. that would give you an unusually powerful glimpse into a person's personality and attitude, as has been proved by numerous studies detailing the effects of strong and maintained eye contact.

not really

Not entirely. They can falsify or choose answers that they would like rather than what is true of themselves. I took a long extensive personality test and it took me three times to be completely honest enough to get answers that matched how I really am. and still, there can be some variable differences.
