ASK YOUR DOCTOR
chew gum
nicorette gum or patches work great and are over the counter.

or try zyban if your doctor thinks the prescription will work for you.
Xanax and Valium is what a doctor will give you
Zyban really worked for me.
i know some people who are trying to quit who have been prescribed wellbutrin- but i think its for the depression that giving up their addiction causes, not the actual smoking.
you can try xyban (cant remember spelling, could be zyban), it really helps, i quit for 3 months, my own fault i started again.
Well done for quitting! I used the gum for a while then just stopped with all of it altogether. I think your GP is the best person to ask. Why don't you try that Zyban regime?
Speak to your pharmacist or doctor. Possibly also (if you haven't already) search the internet for info. Good luck
its really up to you. if u really want to stop, you can but if u think you cant stop, then its gonna be hard to stop
Iam Using this orbit chewing gum which eradicates the black scars on your teeth and it even makes me to not for a ***
Hm.. Running track.. maybe ..?

Or Chinese therapy might help.. that might heart little bit.
Gum works for some people, patches for others, hypnosis for others. Ask your doctor, and don't give up, I'm rooting for ya!
yeah. take two long slow breaths and call me in the morning. breath and enjoy the pain. you can make it without some other substitute. you are the best medicine and the best reason to continue with your struggle - good for you and keep up the hard work - trying to quit right now also
no not really unless u want to pay a fourtune you can chew the gum that is out on the market or go cold turkey and chew reg gum and keep yourself busy doing something that is what i did and i have been smoke free for 8 years now beleive me its addicting but u can beat it after the 1st week that is the hardest.it gets better just keep in your mind that this is what u want and u don't want that ever again beleive me you can taste things better and smell better and after the 1st 6 months u start breathing better try it good luck
i have used zyban it worked but it is expensive unless you are on a health care card you have to see a doctor but it works
Your best bet is to drink lots of water and even fruit juice to begin with, and eat healthy sweet things for the first fews days or so. This counteracts the drop in blood sugar after the withdrawal of nicotine.
Nicotine would have given you mild pleasant feelings because it releases 'feel good' endorphins in your brain. (Zyban, which is the brand name for Wellbutrin. does the same, that's why they call it an anti-depressant)
This same chemical reaction can be achieved by other forms of activity or excitement, namely exercise.
There's a website full of ideas for you to help here: http://www.quitguide.com
welbutrin is said to help, also drink sips of ice cold wated when ever you need one trust me it helps
welbutrin xl or zyban
put a bit of epsom salt in a bath and hop in it for an hour or so, what it does is the salt water absorbs the nicotine in the body.
TRY IT.
ZYBAN...is the only thing that has worked for me.
