Could I possibly be having an anxiety attack or what?

Question:
I recently have taken on a lot of stress, I am 22 years old. On top of my full-time job in the insurance industry that is very stressful, I am going to college full-time taking 4 classes as well. In the past two weeks I have had 4 to what I believe are anxiety attacks. This runs in my family but not really sure if that is what it is. I just feel angry and mad at the world, I feel depressed, like everyone hates me and I hate everyone, and I cry hard, to the point where it's hard to catch my breath. It takes a lot to make me cry as well. These "attacks" seem to last for about 30 minutes. I have to try and calm myself down as well. I feel fidgety all the time just recently too. Normally, I am a calm person, handles stress very well. I go months without crying, and nothing really bothers me. Depression and anxiety runs in my family. Help..suggestions please!!

Id say its more of an emotional melt down. Your body can deal with stress well, but theres also a time limit that it can tolerate it. After a while your mind and body try to shut down.

You need to decide to take care of yourself. If you're making your body so stressed and miserable just for the sake of some how providing yourself with a better life, you seriously need to reconsider the value of that better life.

My family also has a history of anxiety attacks, and depression. Its not an excuse to have them, its simply the known way that out genetic make up causes our bodies to cope with and deal with stress.

And those anxiety attacks, and depression will shorted your life span. The attacks themselves cause even more stress on your mind, which in turn puts more on your body in the long run. And everyone knows the depression shortens lives, and wittles away its quality.

Aparently you have made the mistake of assuming that some job, some education, some social gain is some how worth the exchange of your good health and long life. And that its not a choice you should be making so blindly.

Somethings got to give. If its not your health its some other area of your life.

Scrape a little off your plate and try again.
It sounds like it but I would go and see a doctor, not for happy pills but for his opinion, you may find that some counseling helps
