Side effects of xanax?

Question: I started taking it for anxiety and stress. just on an as need basis. I noticed when i take it I just get more depressed and think suicide. I would never go that route as I have witnessed it first hand. I just wonderd if anyone else had the same effect or if it is just me.

I take it as well on a need basis. I have not had those side effects. Go to this site, www.web.md and type it in and you will get a detailed list of side effects. If it makes you feel that way you need to tell your doctor. Call him. There are other options.

xanax is a benzodiazapam, there are many of them. I take them and have no side effects like that, but I did take klodopine and Adavain and they had bad effects on me, and are the same kind of drug. Maybe you should tell your doctor and ask him if any other kind would help. You may need to be taking valium rather than xanax. Xanax if for anxiety attacks and valium is for anxiey. after taking it for a while and then abruptly stopping it you might feel lethargic and like it is hard to get interested in things. you also might feel anxious or sad. and you might have unpredictable mood swings. you may make decisions based on impressions rather than facts
