How many emotions can one feel at the same time?

Question: I recently aquired a new account that will put me in good financial shape. A dear friend died quite suddenly. I had to put my companion of 15 years to "sleep."(my dog). My business continues to grow. My life is exciting, hectic, distressing, loney. A real roller coaster. Soooo, How many Emotions can one feel at the same time?

You can feel many emotions as once. Life is a wonderful-awful mix. When you feel more than one emotion at the same time, and you feel them with sharp intensity, it confuses and sometimes overwhelms you. But emotions are like waves on the beach. They crash over you and then go back out to sea. It just sounds like you have had an awful lot of big waves lately. Don't let them knock you down. They'll pass.
