well its on the increase its surprising how many children have it.my younger sis's kid has it and changing their diet and specalist schooling has really helped

its fake!! I think it's an invention. The latest one is "IED", Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I really think pharmaceutical companies make this stuff up in order to help them sell their medications, and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon, going, "YEAH! I got that!"

Both of my brothers have ADD and ADHD and it is not fake it's more common in boys than it is girls and it's I have seen it in several different cultures. I have been around plenty of young children and you can definitely see the difference in children that have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. I do not think that it is an invention at all .
