how can i sleep?

im tired and its midnight... but i cant sleep..... i fall asleep at 3 but i have to get up at 9 to babysit...... is there any fast way to fall asleep without medicine?

Benadryl will work, if you're not totally against medication. It is not addictive at all.

Otherwise, try drinking (caffeine free) tea. Chamomile works well, and several brands carry a Night Time blend. You can find Sleepy Time by Celestial Seasonings at most grocery stores. If you're feeling adventurous, cut open a tea bag, and put some catnip in with the tea. If you do this, make sure you buy from a store that is selling it for personal use--don't cut open your cat's toy for some. I recommend mixing it with either mint or chamomile tea so you don't taste it.

You also may want to try talking a hot bath or shower before bed to help you relax. Music can also help if you're awake because you're worrying about things--it can distract your mind so it will let you fall asleep.

How old are u? some ladies can't sleep before their menstrual days,it is normal .But if u can't sleep everyday it is another problem,u can try drink some hot milk<not cool milk>before sleep,or drink some red date water,it will be useful for u.In the same time ,don't drink coffee, tea ,coke....., more execise,no stress....good luck
Maybe do what I have to do. Try some deep breathing relaxation therapy it helps you relax a little. If needed buy a tape or CD that has sounds like thunderstorms, water rolling on a river and stuff like that works for me if you find that you just can't get any sleep maybe you should buy a sleep aid to use only occasionally try not to use them alot because they can be very addicting.
