dunno wish i could be, iam nearly there where i can switch feelings on and off as i choose. be great for making decisitions without emotions in the way. sounds like been through to much and built up pretty thick walls to the heart. good to see you have kept your politeness so you havent covered those areas. trouble i found is is this. nothing can get in, nothing can get out either. when something does pierce that shell theres a massive explosion and all hell comes loose. so get conselling.
No meds will help that numbness - in fact anti-depressants would probably make it worse.
Find yourself a therapist you trust, and work through why this might be happening.
I went through the same thing you did and I tried anti depressents, they didnt help they made me feel worse then I already did. I would speak to a threopist and work through your problems.
