any RNs/Drs know my lithium meds ques...?

Question:
does anyone know what kind of effect ibuprofen has on the lithium levels?? As well as caffeine and alcohol?? Is it something that increases the levels.. or makes the med not work properly?? --what kind of side effects should be expected.. weight gain?
So i guess i am wondering if the medication is 'still' working if I am having a cup of coffee a day; or a glass of wine once in awhile; or even ibuprofen everyday??

Answers:
I have been on Lithium for 20 years. The ibuprofen can cause your levels to go up and possibly make you toxic. Alcohol can really mess up your kidney and liver.( I had an enlarged liver due to that exact cause) and they could shut down so don't drink. It was suggested that I have less than 3 caffeinated drinks a day. I didn't gain weight right away, but after 3 or 4 months I had gained 5 lbs.
