I think if fear of wide open spaces.
I have a friend that is agoraphobic and she is afraid to leave her house. She has improved by taking "small steps". She started out by just going outside, then if she felt uncomfortable, she could just go back inside and close the door. She is to the point now that she can actually walk across the street, but she has to be unconfined so that she can run home if she starts to panic.
