depression might pass, or it might be habit forming. you may have a chemical imbalance or perhaps a spiritual need that is making you feel sad. you may want to visit a dr or talk to a pastor, or both.

Maybe you just have some depression you should go to your doctor to get some medication.

If you haven't had anything happen to you to make you sad lately, then its a bit harder to figure out. Have you had these sad feelings before? If so, did they go away on their own, or did you have some type of treatment? Everyone has some down times, but if they are lasting longer than two weeks, you may be depressed, and just because you can't pinpoint a reason, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If you have a school counselor or trusted person to talk to, that might help. Take care

If you don't know why, then its depression caused by a brain chemical imbalance. Look up Serotonin:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serotonin

when this chemical is out of "whack" in the brain, we all can get depressed. However, a doctor (general practitioner) or psychiatrist can diagnose this and give you proper medication to correct the imbalance and correct it. Also call your local County Mental Health Clinic or County Health Clinic and ask if they have a psychiatrist you can see on call, they usually base it on "pay or salary" so that its quite affordable for you.

Good luck!
