Is it weird that I like darkness so much.......?

Question: I mean I read in the dark, I close my curtains as much as possible so light won't come in, and I'll like hear noises in my room and footsteps even feel like somethings creeping up behind me and I won't mind. Anyone else feel like that?

Photo-sensitivity can manifest in psychosis, meningitis and other medical diseases. A fondness for the dark can be a symptom of depression, social fear, paranoia, etc. Or, a preference for the dark can have something to do with some kind of disturbance between an individuals unique electromagnetic field and his brainwave EM frequencies, both being electromagnetic like "light", with in-coming visible EM (light). For me, the dark is cool and soothing. When the lights goes out, it's like that luscious feeling of relief we get when a REALLY loud noise stops. I suspect a fondness for the dark is more prevalent among people who are ultra "sensitive" to EM.
