my mom takes it, and it helps her..just because you've never seen a commercial for it doesn't mean it's not effective
My wife takes lexapro, and has for a long time. It's made by Forrest Pharmacutical. I've never seen them advertise any drug. Drug advertisements aren't necessarily good, are they? She's never had a problem with it. It, like any drug, comes with an advisory sheet. I would not base taking it or not on advertisement. If it's prescribed you probably need it. I wish you well.
Lexapro has ben around for a while and though it didnt realy help me several of my frends have had good luck with it
