Any Occupational Therapists or ex OT's out there??


Question:
I qualified as an Occupational Therapist 18 months ago and work in the NHS. I find the job simple and unchallenging. I want a more high powered job but cant afford to go back to uni full time .anyone know where i can go from here??

Go to a teaching hosp and become a student nurse,you can take the nursing exam,or join the Ambulance Service(demanding but a lot of job satisfaction).
Try north east derbyshire mental health trust their OT's are doing some challenging jobs
if you wanted a more challenging job why on earth did you pick ot as your career.
hospitals are your first port of call to climb the ladder.

you could try your hand at helping people that have had strokes the job is a lot more of a challeng.
