This is a hard question, eh? Sometimes people get into a rut, a habit, of hurting each other and someone finally has to say TIME OUT. but how to do that?? it depends upon how long you need a break for. A week with no contact can be explained away with "oh I had the flu" and no damage done, but longer than a month..more consequences. i guess you just have to decide what it is worth to you. Will you get greater peace of mind from the presence or the absence of family.

in a word no. once you seperate theres no going back. make sure its what you believe in, and where you want to be. then there will be not as much heart ache.
