why do I feel guilty?

i am a stay at home mom, my hubby is a police officer! There are times I just need some alone time! So like today I am goin to a friends house alone. Hubby doesnt mind. But when I do I feel guilty for leaving for a few hours! Is this normal or does anyone know why I feel like that? Does anyone else feel the same way?

us sah moms always feel guilty.... it never stops... we feel guilty when we leave because we feel like we should be there 24/7---that is our job-taking care of our family and when we leave, for some ungodly reason, we feel guilty... it sucks, but remember, you cant take care of anyone if you dont take care of yourself first! so just get over it and enjoy yourself!! your hubby and children will be happier and definately, so will you!!
