1st Day zoloft?

Question:
Okay. Took my first zoloft today at 9:30 in the morning, its 1:00 now. Im feeling a little tired or zoned . Do you think I will get bad side effects from this if I havn't already. . .If so how long do the side effects last?

Answers:
I've been on Zoloft for over ten yrs. now and am completely satisfied with all it's effects. After getting over the initial side effects of diarrhea, nausea, headaches, and fatigue (about two to three weeks) later I felt great and still do. I can function very well with life's issues and hurdles. Hang in there give it about eight weeks to really get into ur system and do the work it is intended to do. One day or one week is definitely not enough to notice the effects of the medication, just it's side effects. Wait for the miracle, it'll come. I swear by it.
One of the side effects is drowziness. Try taking it at night just before you go to bed.
