Is the Messiah Complex rare?

Question:
Spirituality and Mental Health

Answers:
A god complex is a colloquial term used to portray a perceived character flaw as if it were a 'psychological complex'. The person who is said to have a 'god complex' does not believe he is God, but is said to act so arrogantly that he might as well believe he is a god or appointed to act by a god. Some people also call it a Messianic complex.

Some believe that 'god complexes' are "particularly common in arrogant, highly educated, worldly, or powerful people." [1]

The Messiah visitation is not rare in fact one church uses it to acquire new converts. There were all stressed and outsiders in life and will easily accept the Mormon beliefs. Later the practices of that church are not so friendly as they pick and chose which ones they want to keep.
No, it isn't rare. I can name 2 right off the bat. The president of the USA, and Blair.
I work on a Psych Unit and it is quite common.
One can claim/believe that he's a spiritual being like a prophet ,a holy person whatsoever becos of the uncontrolable megalomania he gets from a manic phase if the manic depression is severe enough..He can also think that he's a better artist than Van Gogh or a better guitar player Jimmy Hendrix:))These things happen in bipolar people and in my opinion the same thing happens with the drug addicts too!
