What symptoms do you have when you are addicted to Xanax?

Question:

Answers:
Xanax, Klonipan, Ativan, and Valium are all Benzodiazapine's. They are highly addictive and it presents itself in the same manner as alcohol or any illegal drug. You feel better at first, then it takes more and more of the drug to have any affect. I had lied to people about how much Klonipan I was actual taking. My psychiatrist upped my dose because it just wasn't getting the job done. I started to take just so I could nap. The amount I was taking would have put a 350lb man out for 8 hours and I was happy if I was out for 10 minutes. I got more irritable, started slurring my words, more confused and I had bowl movement in my sleep. Thank GOD I am off of that now. It was a living HELL for 2 and 1/2 weeks. If you chose to go off this med, you MUST do it under a doctors care for if you do it on your own IT WILL KILL YOU!! Alcohol withdraw is the only other that would kill you if you didn't get help doing it. I knew to many people with addictions to the Xanax and Klonipan that wound up dead by overdosing on this. And they thought they were okay the day before.
confusion, anxiousness, jitters
