Well, I used to teach preschool, and usually what I found was that the kids were getting smarter and wanting to express themselves, but they didn't have the verbal capacity to do it, so they express themselves physically.

What I usually did was model the words they would need to express their feelings, like "no" or "mine" or "help." That way they are learning the words they need to express their feelings.

cause its fun because theyre three and thats what they do. no offense, but its the truth. i work with the 2's and 3's at a daycare, and its pretty common. a lot of times, its just because they spend too much time together. there are a lot of reasons, but.the main reason is, because theyre three and thats what three year olds do.
