What causes Deja vu?

Question: Okay, please no comments like, "haven't I answered this question before," or other smart-*** comments like that, I want real answers. And also, could you possibly explain why it is when I do have deja vu, I can usually tell what's going to happen next, like, even within the next 5 or ten seconds (which is a long time if you think about it). Please, Scientific answers, no "Matrix" crap either. It was a good movie and all, but not the answer(s) to my question(s).

ive always wondered that myself, it happens to me a lot.

i think it has something to do with psychic powers (and i know ppl are going to give me hell for saying that) but everyone does have some sense of foreseeing the future. its a brain process. i think its stronger in some ppl, and thats why we get deja vu's.
