how to keep stress levels downs during and before a big exam?
Question:
Answers:
Your stress level depends on your genetic (inherited) traits, how much support you get from family and friends, your attitude, your past experience with stress, and your ability to cope or bounce back. What is very stressful for one person may not be for another. Your level of stress in any situation depends on how you perceive it, and how long it lasts.
Some people have learned how to deal with stress better than others. If you have trouble recovering from stressful situations, you may need to learn better ways to cope.

I found the best way to keep the stress down was just to do the best that I could. Prepare and study as well as you can. You really can do nothing more. Then, just let it go. If you've done your best, what more is there? Generally, we get stressed out about big tests because we worry about what will happen if we don't do well. But, we can't control what will happen in the future. So stay in the present, study and prepare. All you can do is the best you can do. Right?
I just graduated from college with honors and every time finals weeks came up, I was a wreck until I found out how to deal with it. I started making flashcards of everything that I needed to learn. I would stick a pile into my back pocket and then when I had a minute at a red light, waiting for a train, or waiting at the bank, I would take out my cards and study for a little bit. When the light changed I would put them back into my pocket. It helped me to become a great student and I also found that when finals week came I didnt have to cram all night beofre the test and just try to remember the next day. This way I could retain the information and use it again and again.
