I never remember my dreams, is this a bad thing?
Question:
Answers:
I was wondering if you smoke cigarettes. The tobacco (and other chemicals resembling tobbaco) causes brain damage (to an extent) and effects your memory and brain processes. The nicotine, on the other hand, stimulates memory. That's why people who are trying to quit and are using patches have "suddenly" started having in depth, weird dreams every night.
Pot also effects the memory.
If no, then it could just be stress. Stress will also do a number on your brain, and make falling asleep more diffucult. If you're not getting enough sleep, then you won't be able to fall into REM, and you won't dream.

thats cuz you don't have any
I never do either, I wonder what that says about us? Some say that dreams are where you work out all of your problems. Does it cause us to have more stress?
The first answerer doesn't know what she's talking about, it's a fact that everyone has dreams every time they get a whole night's sleep.
Most people don't remember their dreams. It's pefectly normal. I often remeber bits and pieces especially when I first wake up, but after while the memories fade away. You do dream, you just don't remember them.
Sometimes I wish I didn't remember mine.they are often odd and cause me to sit and dwell on what they mean.
I don't really think so. To tell you the truth, I hardly ever remember mine either. Do you have a bad memory in general though? I kind of do, so I think that has to do with it. All it means is that you might not have to best short term memory, or your dreams aren't significant enough for you to remember. Maybe memory has nothing to do with it though. That's an interesting question you have. Yeah I was wondering that myself, I can hardly remember mine either.
its ok,i realy cant remember mine either.if i do i cant really see that clearly of my dream
This means that you sleep very good and healthy, you don't have any major problems.nothing to worry about!
OKay this is what you do.everytime you have a dream even if you only remember a little bit of it write it down in the morning and talk about it alot through out the day tell all your friends about it continue to do this and you will start remembering more and more of your dreams.to the point you can almost be conscience in your sleep and controll what happens in them. You can take that to the Bank.
Try to remember them first thing when you wake up, or else they fade quickly.
i dont think soo but the same things happens to me
I am a dreamer. I remember my dreams and I have reoccuring dreams on a regular. I can be in the middle of a dream and something wakes me up, then I can sometimes go right back into the dream. I don't think something is wrong with you, it just that dreaming helps sort out things in your life. It really does. There are symbols and messages in your dreams to answer questions about situations in your life. My advise is.before you go to sleep, try to tell yourself to remember your dream. Have a paper/pen so when you awake you can write it down. Everyone does dream.
I wish I had that problem. Sometimes I have dreams and I can't decide if it was real or a dream because it was so intense! I actually asked my doctor if she had any med's that would make it so I wouldn't dream and she said no. I really wish I had your problem.
i hardly remember mine ither but that just means we're not deep sleepers.and its better to not remember dreams then to have nightmares and remember them..isnt it :)
it depends what you dream about. you could be missin out on a real good thing
many people says that if you can not remember your dream you are not smart or you have a dangerous personality
