I have anxiety, nervousness and panic attacks. I am on xanax and it does help me so much but i still get nervous about things like driving.
I am 26 and i still haven't made my license cause i am too scared to drive. i have but i think i will wreck and it looks like everyone is going to run into everyone on the road.

I have been this way since i was 18. I have panic attacks when there are so many people around me like in a store. For the longest time i couldn't go into the stores.

I know what it feels like and sometimes you feel like you are going out of your mind. Sometimes i don't feel right in my head.

I have taken all types of anti-depressants--they don't help or work. The only thing that helps is Xanax.

I hope you and me both overcome such a debilitating condtion.

Good Luck

Yeah, they came after I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I call them panic attacks.

I usually feel as though I have to get off the road immediately because I feel as though I am a danger to myself and others. I get tingly and all weird feeling.

many, many people have had panic attacks while driving. seems to be a very common place to have them! panic attacks usually start when you're in a situation that you feel you can not escape. The worst part about it is that every time you drive, you fear the panic attack, and actually end up bringing one on! have you seen a doctor? klonopin is very helpful with panic attacks. I used to get them all the time(especially while driving), and after taking klonopin didn't have them again! And the good thing is, after taking them for a while, and noting the great effects, you don't have to keep taking them! most people just carry them around as a security blanket---and don't end up having to use them! the best part is, they are fast-acting! you'll get relief within about 20 min.

Yes, I have had a fear of driving for 2 years now. I get numb hands, my heart starts racing, and I feel like I am going to pass out. Not fun.
