I fit all the requirements for having asperger's syndrome except i am not above average intelligent.?

Question:
in fact i struggled in school except for french and science.I flunked out after two years of high school. Does this mean i am not asperger positive?

Answers:
You don't have to have above average intelligence to be diagnosed with Asperger's. I've tested kids on all ends of the spectrum. Kids with IQs of 69 and 155; and kids with IQs of 103. The follow the bell curve like the rest of us.
The best way to get a definitive diagnosis is to meet with a psychologist and possibly get some psychological testing conducted.
Where did you obtain the requirements for Asperger's? Some sources can be highly inaccurate. That is why it is important to be diagnosed by a professional.

Other Answers:
asperger's must be diagnosed by a medical physician. Go see your doctor and talk to him/her about it. They can give you some tests to figure it out.
By definition, those with AS have a normal IQ
