how to stop thinking that something bad is going to happen soon?


Question:
for example i've been sleeping really good lately considereing that i suffer from insomnia, well last night i thought about that and in that same momment i couldnt fall asleep and had to take my meds. the othre day my tooth was hurting but it went away, i was thinking about how it went away today an dit started up again! like when i feel that everything is going well and smooth i get a certain panick attack and i get scared...i dont know why i do or feel like this but i honestly want to stop this! any advice? anything will help...thank you!

Sounds like you actually crave that feeling of panic, and the release you get when the "bad thing" actually happens. You won't allow yourself to just feel good.
Well what you expect to get is what you're going to get. Get it?
In other words, tell yourself that it's going to be a great day. And every time you feel that little panicky voice in your head coming back, force it out. Say no, you aren't' going to think like that, and repeat the good ones over and over. "Today is going to be a great day!"
Only by believing it are you going to make a difference. For now you're beleiving the worst, and the worst keeps coming your way. It's worth a try no?
Get some sleep!
