No, they both refer to the same thing. I find that the best way to deal with them is to just start concentrating oin your breathing for a couple of minutes. Usually this ends up working very well. If that doesn't seem to work, you should try to get out of whatever situation you are in and just be by yourself for a bit. Go out for a walk or something.
If you find that you have a lot of panic attacks, 1 or more every day, then you should probably go to your doctor and talk to him about it. Often he will prescribe a medication that will even you out and greatly reduce the number of attacks that you have.

first define what brings them on.i.e. going out, meeting people etc. then start to face it head on only a little at a time.if this does not help; then doctor can provide short time antianxiety med there is no difference between the both of them they are almost the same thing..

I get the same thing, anxiety and panic attacks for no dam reason.I got this Attachicking Stress and Anxiety program from ebay for about $80 it did help me a bit. Just when you get the panic attacks, start to think thats ok ,its gonna be fine.Dont add the fuel to the fire, try to relax.

Yes.

Although many people think of them as one and the same thing, panic disorder and social anxiety disorder are two seperate mental illnesses. Although panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder, it actually differs greatly from social anxiety disorder in a variety of ways.
