At this point in my life I am the happiest I've been ever. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and we have the most adorable puppy. My job is going great with the everyday ups and downs of course but I'm not burned out right now. So, to answer your question, yes I am happy.

Thrilled! I'm a new paramedic, and today I had my first critical patient. Lights and sirens to the hospital, we called a trauma alert, so they had the whole trauma team standing by....it looked like something out of a medical emergency show. I left the hospital feeling that I had actually made a difference for the first time since I earned my paramedic badge.
So, yes, I am very happy!

Whether or not you will be happy is a decision you make every single day of your life. I wake up each day and decide to be happy, so I am. Of course, sometimes I'm sad, when I really need to be, but if you look on the bright side of things you will be happier.

For instance, if I say "I hate my job..I don't want to go to work," it will affect your mood negatively. But if you say to yourself "This isn't my perfect job, but I'm going to go in and do the best I can possibly do," then you can work your way into something you will enjoy better.
