Answers:
start of by asking if you can use a church hall or something then put flayers up around your local areah and in your local news paper telling people they can come to a meating, where self harmers can come with out being judged! dont get docs and shrincs envolved as people will run! just let them know its a place to chat to people who suffer with the same thing! im a self harmer and id have loved something like that to be set up near me

Why not start at the local doctors surgery .
the shopping mall ^^
Why don't you ask a psychologist or psychotherapist for help and guidance?
Try looking at http://www.recoveryourlife.com/ it's a web page for self harmer's, it offers support and guidance.
I'm not sure a home would be a good idea, but stating a local support group with the knowledge of a health professional could be good.
Sometimes you need to talk to like minded people.
The best thing to do is talk to someone that works in the mental health sector and see what YOU can do to help.
It's good to see some one learning from their life experiences.
I'm a 19year old self-harmer too. Hey.
It's great to have a dream like that and a real goal to achieve. Thing is, you'd probably have to be a psychiatrist, psychologist or Dr for that to become a reality, or at least know a lot of people who were, who would then work for you, as we both know a lot of support is needed to get better. The other problem is that collceting a lot of people with the same problem together can result in a "pro" harm environment, where people compete with or learn from one another.
I love the fact you want to do something like that. It's really inspirational. But you'll either need a lot of money or a relevant degree to get you started. Training as a clinical Psychologist could be a good start. You'll need an undergraduate Psychology Degree (1st class), then two years experience, then a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Good Luck!
